Check the deadline on the actual order
As soon as an item is warehoused, check when its return window starts and ends. Seller eligibility and warehouse storage time are separate conditions. Record the deadline before waiting for the rest of your purchases.
What should you do at each order stage?
| Order stage | Useful next action | What not to assume |
|---|---|---|
| Not yet purchased | Check whether cancellation is available | That a cancellation request has already stopped the purchase |
| Purchased or on domestic delivery | Ask which cancellation or seller-return options remain | That warehouse inspection has happened |
| Received at the warehouse | Record the issue and request a return before the deadline | That a long storage allowance is a return allowance |
| Packed or internationally dispatched | Contact support with the current status and records | That a domestic warehouse return process still applies |
The order screen and support confirmation determine the available process. If you are unsure whether packing has started, ask before authorising any further handling.
Keep seals, tags and accessories intact
Check whether the selected item is returnable before requesting unpacking or packaging removal. Personalised goods, opened sealed products and items missing original parts may have different conditions. Ask first if the original seal matters.
Prepare a return request that can be checked
- Order reference and the exact item, color, size or model ordered.
- Arrival photos and a clear description of the mismatch or damage.
- The return deadline shown for this order and whether seals or tags are intact.
- A request for approval, applicable charges and the next required action.
Order [reference]: I ordered [variant], but the arrival label shows [different variant]. The item is still in the warehouse and the tags are intact. Please confirm return eligibility, the deadline and any return shipping or handling charges before proceeding.
Get approval and compare the charges
Describe the issue clearly: wrong variant, visible damage or a change of mind. Request approval before sending anything back. Ask which domestic shipping and handling charges apply, and what amount would actually be refunded.
Example: wrong size versus unwanted fit
If you ordered size M and the label shows L, photograph the label and retain the original option in the order record. If the label shows M but the garment does not suit your preferred fit, explain that accurately and provide measurements if the listing differs.
Those are different reasons for a request. Do not label a change of mind as a shipping mistake. Ask how the reason affects approval and which costs are refundable. Keep protective packaging in place until the instructions are clear.
Keep the decision with your order notes
Save the order number, photos, messages, deadline and approved next step. For a wrong variant, write what was ordered and what arrived. Resolve the request before authorising international dispatch; a later return is a different shipping problem.
How much is refunded, and when?
Ask for an itemised amount: product payment, any recoverable domestic delivery payment, and any shipping or handling deductions. A successful product return does not by itself establish that payment charges, used services or every delivery charge will be repaid.
Track the stages separately: approved, sent back, received by the seller, refund issued and refund received. If progress stops, send the reference and the last confirmed stage to support. Do not rely on a fixed processing time unless it has been confirmed for your request.
